If you are new to salesforce you can sign up for developer edition from here Lets login to salesforce  , and look into different things. Once you log in to slaesforce , In Home screen you can see 1. App Launcher (Shows selected application , Can switch between applications) 2. Tabs (Helps in navigation through different objects list views and other pages) 3. Setup (Used mostly by salesforce developer to add/ modify functionalities) And we see different list views , charts , reports, forms that
